Book Synopsis

Book Review
Mike Shepherd`s first book in the Kris Longknife series is a fun read. There are some plot holes, and the story feels a little too much like chunks hastily bolted together, but despite that, Kri Longknife is an interesting (if a littel mary sue-esque) character, and Mike`s style of writing is thoroughly engaging.
Its a reasonable blend of military sci-fi and space opera, oscillating between the military units traditions, to the strong heroine and a grand galactic sweep.
This book won`t change your world, but it`ll be a fun few hours!
